I got to sit down with SD Bullion President and Founder Dr. Tyler Wall and discuss Retirement. 

Before he owned SD Bullion, Dr. Wall worked as a pharmacist. He had a successful career and used the pharmacy’s company 401K matching plan to accumulate funds into his 401K retirement account while he was working there. 

When he made the transition full time to SD Bullion, he got access to those retirement funds. He knew he didn’t want those funds exposed to the paper markets and he didn’t want to pay a penalty to take those funds out of his 401K either.

So what did he do? He did what few folks that buy gold and silver know you can do. He rolled his 401K over into physical precious metals.

In the process of doing so, he saw the shortcomings of opening a Gold & Silver IRA. Over the next two years, SD Bullion invested time building a new Gold & Silver IRA that would reduce processing time and make owning gold and silver in a retirement account much easier.

We launched our Gold & Silver IRA product in late 2023. Then, The Great Taking Documentary shortly followed this new product release. 

This newly minted documentary increased people’s interest in putting retirement funds into physical gold and silver. With the rise of the popularity of the Gold & Silver IRA, we knew we needed to shoot a video to educate folks on how to start a Gold & Silver IRA properly.
